Training Starts This Week

Training for the U9, U10 and U11 teams starts this Wednesday at 5:30pm.

World Cup Quiz Winner

Well done to Aaron Ryder from Whaley Bridge who has won £50 in the World Cup Quiz.

Aaron got all of the answers right and was closest on the tie-breaker. The attendance, according to the FIFA website was a surprisingly low 84,490. Aaron was just 510 out with his guess of 85,000.

The winning sheet was sold by junior Lewis Chadwick. For his efforts Lewis wins a Champions League football.

AGM & World Cup Sheet Reminder

Don't forget it's the AGM at the Cricket Club on Thursday night - 7:30pm. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Also - we need your World Cup Sheets and monies. Hand them in to Carl, Steve, Peter, Dave or Ben or post them through 17 Kinder Road before 10th June.

League Presentations

The league presentations will take place on Sunday 16th May at Stockport Plaza.

The Under 9's presentation takes place at 11:00am - doors open at 10:40am.

The Under 10's presentation takes place at 12:30pm - doors open at 12:15pm.

Some details from the league:

Parking is on street (very limited) or at the Multi-Story Car Park (entrance on Petersgate)

Because of the design of the theatre access and egress is through the same doors and in order to avoid chaos would you please wait in Mersey Square until the “door opening” time above.

Your cooperation in this is vital as we need to be able to clear the theatre between presentations.

Please ensure all parents are aware of this and we look forward to your assistance in ensuring an enjoyable and stress free presentation.

What's Happening This Weekend (17th & 18th April)

Soccer Star Challenge - Saturday 17th

It's that time of year again and we'll be running the FA Soccer Star Challenge. It's a series of six tests that allow our players to pitch their skills against tens of thousands of children throughout the country.

The challenge will start at 10:00am on Saturday morning. It takes around an hour and a half to complete.

We'll present the Soccer Star Challenge certificates on our Presentation Night on 21st May.

Mini-Kids Switches To Sundays

Don't forget the mini-kids soccer school has switched to Sundays now that the cricket season is upon us. 10:30am at the school. Ben and Carl look forward to seeing you back after the Easter break.
