Mini-Kids Soccer School Restarts Saturday 10th September

Just a quick note to let you know that our Year 1/Year 2 soccer school restarts for its third year this Saturday morning. There's a slight change in format in that we'll be running seperate sessions for Y1 and Y2 school children. This is to reduce the group size for each year which should give the children more coach time.
  • Year 1: 11:00 - 12:00
  • Year 2: 09:30 - 10:30

The soccer school is being run by Carl again after a year off with the U9/8s. It takes place on the hard-court area at Hayfield Primary School so no boots are needed, just trainers. Please send your child along with water and ideally some shin-pads.

If you need more information please contact Carl on 07855 399140.

What's Happening This Weekend (17th & 18th April)

Soccer Star Challenge - Saturday 17th

It's that time of year again and we'll be running the FA Soccer Star Challenge. It's a series of six tests that allow our players to pitch their skills against tens of thousands of children throughout the country.

The challenge will start at 10:00am on Saturday morning. It takes around an hour and a half to complete.

We'll present the Soccer Star Challenge certificates on our Presentation Night on 21st May.

Good luck everyone!

Mini-Kids Switches To Sundays

Mini-Kid's Soccer School Up and Running

Today we started our new mini-kid's soccer school. On a lovely sunny morning we welcomed 15 new recruits to Hayfield Junior Football Club.

The soccer school is aimed at 5-7 year olds, boys and girls, regardless of ability. All we need from them is some enthusiasm for football!

The soccer school takes place term-time on Saturday mornings at 9:00am at Hayfield Primary School (Sundays at 10:30am from 18th April 2010). There's no need to pre-register or book places, just bring along your child.
