As far as we know this weekend's fixtures are ON!!!
The Under 9s are away at Spurley Hey (Banks Lane School). It's a LATE KICK-OFF at 11:45am. Try to get there early
The Under 10s are also away. They're at Mountfield Rovers (Lumb Lane). Kick-off is 10:30am, please try to get there for 10:00am.
The snow has gone so barring any more bad weather the mini-kids soccer school will also be back on Saturday morning. See you there.
Yet again we're beaten by the snow. There'll be no U9/U10 trainig this Wednesday (13th Jan '10) because the astroturf is still covered in snow.
Come back to the website on Friday to see what the situation is for the weekend's games (don't build your hopes up!)

UPDATE - Saturday 16th January
As predicted it's still too snowy/icy for any games or the soccer school. Let's hope next week brings some warmer/drier weather.
It will come as no surprise to you to learn that all games and this weekend's mini-kids soccer school are cancelled because of the bad weather.
Keep your fingers crossed for a thaw before next weekend.

Unfortunately the snow means our season will resume a little later than we'd like. Because of the treacherous conditions we're cancelling training this week (Wednesday 6th '10). It's highly unlikely that this weekend's games will be played but check the website on Friday for up to date information.
All of the coaches, committee members and helpers at Hayfield Junior Football Club would like to wish all of our players a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
2009 has been a really special year for us where we've become a proper football club. Let's hope we continue to make great progress in 2010.

Sadly, because of the cold snap, this weekend's U9 and U10 games have been postponed.
We're hoping to run the mini-kids soccer school on Saturday morning as usual. Ben and Ian have been gritting this evening!
