Happy New Year / Snow

Happy New Year everyone. Let's hope we have a great footballing year!

Unfortunately the snow means our season will resume a little later than we'd like. Because of the treacherous conditions we're cancelling training this week (Wednesday 6th '10). It's highly unlikely that this weekend's games will be played but check the website on Friday for up to date information.

Bowling Party Today

Don't forget today's bowling party at Stockport Bowling Alley. It's a 2 o'clock start but please try to be 15 minutes early so we can get shoes sorted out.

All of the coaches, committee members and helpers at Hayfield Junior Football Club would like to wish all of our players a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

2009 has been a really special year for us where we've become a proper football club. Let's hope we continue to make great progress in 2010.

There's no more training or matches until the new year. Here are the dates you need to know:

• 06/01/2010 U9 and U10 training resumes at Chapel Leisure Centre
• 09/01/2010 Mini-kids Soccer School resumes at Hayfield Primary
• 09/01/2010 Under 9's away at Lisbon St Anthonys B
• 09/01/2010 Under 10's at home to Bramhall North 75 B

This Weekend's Games Postponed

Friday 18th December

Sadly, because of the cold snap, this weekend's U9 and U10 games have been postponed.

We're hoping to run the mini-kids soccer school on Saturday morning as usual. Ben and Ian have been gritting this evening!

A BIG Thank You

The Junior Football Club was this week presented with a cheque for £50 from The Royal Hotel and The Village Store. We'd like to thank Maureen and Dean for their continued support.

We'd also like to encourage all of our players to attend The Royal's Kids Chistmas Disco on Saturday 5th December. It sounds like it will be a great night.

U10 and U9 Home Matches Cancelled This Weekend

Unfortunately due to the horrible weather this week we've had to postpone both games this weekend. It was going to be the first weekend that both teams were at home but alas it wasn't to be.

Everybody enjoy their lie-ins tomorrow morning!

Note that Carl will still be getting up early as the mini-kids soccer school is not affected.
